Remote Medical Doctor – Obesity & Cardiometabolic Care

About the role

FlyteHealth is seeking a licensed physician to join its remote, technology‑enabled team focused on obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia. The role blends clinical expertise with behavioral lifestyle modification to deliver evidence‑based, outcomes‑driven care.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct video‑based initial and follow‑up visits, reviewing patient questionnaires, labs, and diagnostics.
• Develop and manage individualized care plans, prescribing anti‑obesity pharmacotherapy and counseling on treatment expectations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of RNs, NPs, dietitians, diabetes educators, and health coaches.
• Monitor patient progress, coordinate referrals, and ensure consistent evidence‑based care delivery.
• Utilize the FlyteHealth Evolve platform to enhance patient engagement and outcomes.
• Assist with onboarding, provider training, workflow development, and practice expansion initiatives.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or eligible physician with a license to practice in the United States.
• Passion for weight management, nutrition, and chronic disease care.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a remote setting.
