Remote Front End Developer

About the role

Coalition Technologies is seeking a Remote Front End Developer to transform complex design files into pixel‑perfect, responsive web experiences. You will work on a variety of projects, primarily using WordPress, and collaborate with a multicultural team across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Convert PSD layouts into HTML5/CSS3 templates with pixel‑perfect accuracy.
• Create responsive website designs and ensure cross‑browser compatibility.
• Build and extend WordPress sites, including custom plugins and themes.
• Optimize images using Photoshop, Illustrator, or Fireworks for web delivery.
• Use version control systems such as GIT or SVN.
• Manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining high quality and attention to detail.

Required profile

• Proficient with modern JavaScript (ES6+) and at least one front‑end framework/library (React, Vue, AngularJS, etc.).
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, ownership‑driven mindset.
• Deep knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, jQuery, media queries, and Bootstrap.
• Experience debugging with Chrome DevTools and handling cross‑browser issues.
• Familiarity with AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, OpenAI, Cursor) for productivity.
• Preferred: PHP/MySQL, AJAX, and experience with e‑commerce platforms (BigCommerce, Magento, Shopify).
• Excellent written and spoken English, available 40 hours/week (9 am‑6 pm PST), and a reliable remote workstation.
