Remote Bookkeeper

About the role

We are looking for a meticulous Remote Bookkeeper to join our finance team. This fully remote position supports a fast‑growing biotechnology company and offers both part‑time and full‑time options.

Key responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and complete the posting process.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, processing invoices, payments, and expense claims.
• Perform monthly and quarterly bank reconciliations.
• Maintain the general ledger and supporting records.
• Assist in preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations.
• Liaise with other departments to resolve financial queries.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.
• Strong attention to detail and high accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Xero or QuickBooks accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
