About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a full‑time Registered Nurse to work night shifts in a telemetry unit. The RN will lead patient care using the nursing process, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

Deliver patient care by applying the nursing process and assessing learning needs of patients and families.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary team members while managing nursing resources.
Utilize data and evidence‑based practice to evaluate outcomes and drive improvements.
Maintain cultural sensitivity and adhere to federal, state, and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior work experience required.

Required skills

Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
Effective verbal and written communication.
Strong interpersonal and organizational abilities.
Good judgment and time‑management skills.
