Registered Nurse (RN) – Ambulatory OBGYN Clinic

About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an ambulatory OBGYN clinic. Using the nursing process, the RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans while collaborating closely with physicians and the health‑care team.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews, explain policies, and review charts with patients and families.
• Assess physiological status (gastrointestinal, cardiovascular, respiratory, renal, neurological) and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Evaluate pain levels, psychosocial health, cultural needs, and coping mechanisms.
• Develop and document individualized outcome statements and care priorities.
• Coordinate cost‑effective use of supplies, equipment, and medication.
• Administer prescribed treatments, operate patient‑care equipment, and ensure safety precautions are followed.
• Provide emotional support, document all interventions, and respond rapidly in emergencies.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Experience in ambulatory or outpatient clinical settings, preferably OBGYN.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to coordinate multidisciplinary care.
• Excellent communication skills for patient education and documentation.
