About the role

This 12‑week night‑shift position in Med Unit A provides leadership in patient care using the nursing process, delegating to team members and ensuring quality outcomes. The role supports the company’s nursing philosophy and contributes to unit and department strategic goals.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective patient care.
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies for patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Delegate, direct, and manage nursing team resources, serving as a leader on the interdisciplinary team.
Use data and knowledge to evaluate and promote changes that achieve optimal outcomes.
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and accreditation standards.

Required profile

Graduate of an accredited nursing school (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
Minimum of 1 year experience as a registered nurse.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
Effective verbal and written communication skills and good judgment.
