About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Med Renal unit on the night shift. This full‑time position supports patient care in Lafayette, Louisiana, and offers the opportunity to work within a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

Utilize the Nursing Process to deliver high‑quality patient care during night hours.
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Delegate, direct, and assist licensed and ancillary staff while ensuring compliance with the Nurse Practice Act and ANA standards.
Document and retrieve patient information using computer systems and contribute to unit and departmental goals.

Required profile

Registered Nurse diploma; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Current RN license in the state of practice.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
No prior experience required.

Required skills

Computer data entry and retrieval of patient information.
Proficiency with Windows‑style applications and related software.
