Registered Nurse – Adult ICU, Med/Surg, Oncology (PRN)

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide high‑quality care across Adult ICU, Medical‑Surgical, and Oncology units. This temporary, fixed‑term position supports patient care on an as‑needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in ICU, Med‑Surg, and Oncology settings.
• Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and document care in the electronic medical record.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean patient environment and adhere to infection‑control protocols.

Required profile

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license with eligibility to practice in Arkansas.
• Experience in adult ICU, medical‑surgical, or oncology nursing preferred.
• Ability to work flexible PRN shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
