About the role

The Technical College System of Georgia’s Office of Workforce Development is seeking a Regional Coordinator in Savannah to support local businesses in high‑demand industries. The role focuses on building talent pipelines, promoting job creation, and driving economic growth across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain knowledge of WorkSource Georgia recruitment programs and labor market information.
• Build and nurture relationships with local businesses, economic development organizations, and government partners.
• Serve as the primary contact for businesses looking to recruit and hire Georgia’s workforce.
• Promote WorkSource Georgia services through events, conferences, trade shows, and targeted outreach.
• Coordinate internal services, create presentations, and facilitate workshops for business audiences.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with two years of related experience, or Associate’s degree with four years of related experience.
• Knowledge of federal workforce development programs such as WIOA.
• Experience in state or local economic development, workforce development, or related fields.
• Strong presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage projects, make decisions, and solve problems effectively.
