Referral Management Clerk – Onsite in Misawa, Japan

About the role

Arcetyp LLC is seeking a Referral Management Clerk to work onsite at a U.S. military medical facility in Misawa, Japan. The role supports compliance, patient care coordination, and performance improvement activities within a highly regulated environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission standards, Department of the Navy regulations, and all applicable health‑care laws.
• Participate in peer review, performance improvement programs, and family advocacy initiatives.
• Respond to emergency patient situations following established protocols, documenting actions and notifying supervisors as needed.
• Attend mandatory annual training covering disaster response, infection control, safety, and CBRNE topics.
• Assist in clinical staff training and contribute to meetings reviewing patient care quality.
• Operate and maintain automated health‑information systems such as CHCS, AHLTA, ADS, Essentris, and the Clinical Information System (CIS).
