About the role
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing testing and inspection activities across product development and manufacturing. This hourly, full‑time position ensures raw materials, intermediate and finished products meet quality standards while supporting environmental monitoring in production areas.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and plan internal and external QC testing and environmental monitoring activities.
- Perform sampling, inspection, and routine testing of incoming raw materials, production‑related materials, and finished products.
- Release raw materials and production‑related materials based on test results.
- Manage shelf‑life and validation studies, including sample preparation and reporting.
- Calibrate, maintain, and document QC and EM equipment and laboratory areas.
- Maintain QC databases, quality indicators, and documentation such as specifications and testing procedures.
- Communicate with external laboratories for test planning, execution, and result reporting.
- Participate in product development, risk management, and quarterly dose audit activities.
- Train new and existing QC personnel as needed.
Required profile
- Strong knowledge of quality control requirements and regulatory standards.
- Ability to keep up‑to‑date with QC topics and share insights with colleagues.
- Commitment to safety standards, including chemical, infectious, and radioactive hazard protocols.
- Proactive attitude toward continuous improvement of testing methods and the Quality Management System.
Required skills
- Calibration of QC and environmental monitoring equipment.
- Laboratory testing and sampling techniques for raw materials and finished products.
- Implementation and maintenance of QC databases and documentation.
- Execution of shelf‑life and validation studies.
- Environmental monitoring of production areas and utilities.
What we offer
- Hourly wage ranging from $20 to $24.57.
- Full‑time, onsite position with stable, permanent employment.
