Quality Control Manager – Camp Pendleton

About the role

EMI Services is seeking a Quality Control Manager to oversee quality assurance activities for service and maintenance projects at Camp Pendleton. The role works directly with the project manager, operations manager, safety supervisor and the United States Government to ensure compliance with contract requirements and performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Project Manager, FSM, SSHO, subcontractors and QCI staff on all QC inspections and documentation.
• Develop and maintain a quality surveillance and tracking system for maintenance shops and subcontractors.
• Create and implement a QC plan that meets environmental and performance monitoring requirements.
• Advise the Project Manager on QC and environmental program status, strategies, and potential issues.
• Monitor and track specialized qualifications, licenses, certificates and training for personnel.
• Enforce regulatory, base and company safety rules.
• Manage Quality Control Inspectors and lead monthly QC meetings with the Government.
• Investigate complaints, produce reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform any additional duties required to complete the project.
