Public Information Assistant

About the role

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) is seeking a Public Information Assistant to support its Communication Team. Working from the Manhattan office, you will help convey clear, accurate pension information to internal and external audiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in drafting communication products in English and French or Spanish.
• Support the development and implementation of the Fund’s social‑media strategy.
• Monitor website, intranet and social‑media performance using analytics tools.
• Track relevant social‑media outlets and topics of interest to the Fund.
• Collaborate on the automated translation service for the website.
• Prepare monthly and annual communications reports with key metrics.
• Create and update intranet content, including staff interviews, meeting summaries, project updates and event announcements.
• Post news items and maintain relevant web pages on the intranet.

Required profile

• Strong written communication skills in English and either French or Spanish.
• Ability to research, draft and edit concise messages.
• Experience with social‑media platforms and basic analytics.
• Familiarity with website content management and translation workflows.
• Attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
