About the role
The Property Accounting Scanner/Tagger works on an hourly basis to support the university's property accounting operations. This temporary, fixed‑term position is open to current University of Arkansas System employees, including student workers and graduate assistants.
Key responsibilities
- Scan property‑related documents and records into the university’s accounting system.
- Apply appropriate tags and classifications to ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Verify scanned data for completeness and correctness.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information.
- Assist the property accounting team with routine data‑entry tasks.
Required profile
- Current employee of the University of Arkansas System (including students and graduate assistants).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently on repetitive tasks.
