Project Manager – Global Engineering Maintenance Sustainability (GEMS)

About the role

Amazon is looking for a Project Manager to lead new‑build infrastructure and expansion/retrofit projects within the Global Engineering Maintenance Sustainability (GEMS) organization. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, manage vendor schedules, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of safety and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Manage small to medium capital projects with significant schedule commitments.
• Coordinate multiple vendors and internal resources to meet project milestones.
• Partner with program managers to secure resources, define scope, set priorities, and drive delivery.
• Own program communication, clear blockers, and escalate issues as needed.
• Influence design and development of strategic processes and business initiatives.
• Develop, implement, and govern all business, technical, fiscal, and administrative functions of the assigned program.
• Maintain overall project schedule, risk registers, and status reporting.
• Travel up to 80% nationwide and work from the corporate office when not on site.
