Project Manager, Commercial Operations

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Project Manager to lead strategic initiatives within Commercial Operations and the Data & Analytics Center of Excellence. The role focuses on delivering digital transformation, analytics adoption, and process innovation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and deliver Commercial Operations and Data Analytics initiatives, including Salesforce development projects, on time, within scope, and budget.
• Collaborate with COE teams, franchise and regional leaders, IT, and external vendors to define requirements and ensure alignment.
• Serve as primary liaison between the COE and internal/external project teams, tracking progress and delivery.
• Apply agile, predictive, or hybrid methodologies to manage development, testing, and deployment cycles.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; escalate issues for timely resolution.
• Track performance using KPIs and dashboards; provide status updates to leadership.
• Drive innovation through automation, analytics, and process optimization.
• Support change management with communication and training strategies.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, data governance, and security standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (e.g., high school +13 years, Associate +9 years, M.S. +2 years, PhD +0 years).
• Minimum 5 years of relevant project management experience.
• Project Management certification (PMP, PMI‑ACP, PRINCE2, etc.).
• Fluent English reading, writing, and communication skills.
