About the role
Georgetown University seeks a Program Manager to lead the integration of IT infrastructure into campus construction and renovation projects. The role ensures that networking, audiovisual, and security systems are embedded in architectural designs from concept through completion.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT workstreams for construction and renovation initiatives.
- Review architectural blueprints and CAD drawings to verify IT spatial, cabling, and power requirements.
- Manage low‑voltage contractors and AV integrators, ensuring performance and compliance.
- Coordinate with Facilities Management and MEP teams to align power, cooling, and IT needs.
- Oversee IT project budgets, maintaining fiscal responsibility and alignment with university goals.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT program management with a focus on physical infrastructure or construction coordination.
- Preferred certifications: PMP and/or RCDD.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Bluebeam and AutoCAD for reading construction drawings.
- Knowledge of BICSI and TIA standards.
- PMP certification (preferred).
- RCDD certification (preferred).
