Program Coordinator – Workforce Development

About the role

The Program Coordinator, under direction of the Infrastructure Training and Safety Institute (ITSI) Program Director, is responsible for ITSI division program coordination of the TEEX Workforce Development Programs at the Coastal Bend Occupational Advanced Skills Training (COAST) in Corpus Christi, Texas and the RGV Advanced Manufacturing Hub (RAM) in Brownsville, Texas. The role involves collaborating with host locations, marketing training, coordinating schedules, monitoring instructor performance, and managing the program budget.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the point of contact at host locations.
• Assist in marketing training and technical assistance.
• Coordinate training schedules and delivery of classes.
• Monitor performance of instructors and classes.
• Manage the assigned fiscal budget for the program.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of program coordination or related experience.
• Valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.
• Equivalency options: seven years of related experience with an Associate’s Degree, or nine years with a High School Diploma/GED.
