Program Coordinator – Graduate Programs, Earth Commons

About the role

The Program Coordinator supports the administrative, academic, and operational functions of two joint graduate degree programs offered by the Earth Commons in partnership with Georgetown’s School of Business and School of Health. This role serves as the primary point of contact for students, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience throughout their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day program operations, including registration, degree‑progress audits, and grade‑report preparation.
• Provide admissions support and ongoing academic‑affairs assistance to both prospective and enrolled students.
• Coordinate co‑curricular activities, faculty support, and program events such as New Student Orientation.
• Liaise with university offices (Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Global Studies, Registrar, etc.) to resolve student issues.
• Collaborate with program directors, faculty, and functional units across JOGS, ECo, MSB, and SoH.
• Assist with program review processes and maintain accurate program documentation.

• Experience in academic administration or higher‑education program coordination.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, events, and deadlines efficiently.
