Production Utility Operator (Night Shift)

About the role

3M is seeking a Production Utility Operator to join its Tonawanda manufacturing facility. In this night‑shift position you will support the production line by handling material flow, packaging, and equipment assistance while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with the work‑center team to meet production goals.
• Replenish raw materials and ensure timely delivery to workstations.
• Inspect, package, and palletize finished goods for shipment.
• Assist equipment operators during change‑overs and perform general housekeeping duties.
• Follow all safety rules and policies to protect yourself and coworkers.

Required profile

• High School Diploma, GED, or higher (verified prior to start).
• Minimum 6 months of production or manufacturing experience in any sector.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Willingness to work a 12‑hour night shift (7 pm – 7 am) on a 2/2/3 schedule, including alternating weekends.

Required skills

• Basic equipment operation and change‑over assistance.
