Production Operator 2 – B Shift – MTO

About the role

The Production Operator 2 works on the B shift in a contact‑lens manufacturing environment. The role involves operating specialized equipment, following strict SOPs, and contributing to continuous‑improvement initiatives. It offers exposure to advanced, quality‑critical stages of lens production and potential for future advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas while applying lean improvement methods.
• Operate automated lathing, injection‑molding, and metrology equipment to meet production targets.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures and cGMP requirements rigorously.
• Flexibly support other production areas and assist coordinators or technicians as needed.
• Participate in lean/Six Sigma projects and lead team activities when required.
• Work extended hours, including mandatory overtime, to achieve daily goals.

Required profile

• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to read, understand, and apply SOPs, FDA regulations, and cGMP standards.
• Attention to detail, problem‑solving aptitude, and desire for continuous improvement.
• Basic mathematical ability and adherence to attendance requirements.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25 lb throughout the shift.
