Production Finance Associate – Nonfiction

About the role

Netflix’s Nonfiction Production Finance team is seeking an Associate to support internal finance executives and collaborate with partner production services companies. Based in the Hollywood office, the role works on‑site Monday through Thursday and plays a key part in managing show fundings, talent payments, and cash‑flow schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with Netflix Production, Business Affairs, Post‑Production, Creative, and Corporate Accounting teams.
• Collaborate with external production services companies and production accountants.
• Process show fundings and talent payments according to deals and schedules.
• Track show fundings, cash‑flow schedules, and budget drafts.
• Ensure timely submission of production cost reports.
• Map budgets to Netflix’s chart of accounts and update internal production databases.
• Onboard production services accounting teams to Netflix policies and procedures.
• Maintain show‑related information in Netflix systems.
• Participate in improving teamwork flows and systems.
• Handle ad‑hoc projects and analysis as needed.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of finance or accounting experience, preferably in the entertainment industry.
• High intellectual curiosity and results‑driven mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, challenging environment.
• Self‑motivated, disciplined, highly organized, and capable of prioritizing multiple tasks.
• Strong personal and professional integrity and ethics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Annual salary range $105,000 – $175,000 (choose salary vs. stock options each year).
