Production Coordinator

About the role

The Production Coordinator will supervise and coordinate all production and support activities involved in the repair process at our Southgate, MI facility. This role ensures accurate documentation, updates work order systems, and manages the flow of items that cannot be repaired in‑house. The coordinator works closely with technicians, shipping, parts, and customer service teams to meet delivery and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Process received items for evaluation and pricing.
• Assign work to employees based on capability, priority and delivery requirements.
• Interface with Customer Service and Sales to resolve issues and answer questions.
• Coordinate changing delivery/priority order requirements as necessary.
• Monitor delivery schedules for on‑time delivery of orders.
• Coordinate component part/replacement unit needs with appropriate departments.
• Lead 5S events and reorganization projects.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by supervisor/manager.

Required profile

• Strong computer skills and basic negotiation ability.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Ability to multitask and work on feet for extended periods.
• No lifting restrictions.
• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent; previous experience preferred.
