Product Marketing & Community Manager

About the role

Civic Marketplace is building a data‑driven platform that modernises public procurement. The Product Marketing & Community Manager will shape the product narrative, create launch materials, and grow a vibrant supplier and agency community, using AI as a core collaborator.

Key responsibilities

• Own positioning, messaging and competitive narrative for local government buyers.
• Produce launch assets such as one‑pagers, case studies, email sequences and landing pages.
• Partner with sales to create battle cards, pitch decks and agency‑specific collateral.
• Build and maintain Claude‑powered content pipelines for automated first‑draft generation and approval workflows.
• Track funnel performance in HubSpot and optimise conversion with behavioural triggers.
• Design bilingual (English/Spanish) outreach templates and AI‑refined supplier onboarding communications.
• Implement AI‑assisted community response systems and run regular webinars, newsletters and async updates.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in product marketing, content strategy or community management.
• Demonstrable writing voice with portfolio examples.
• Active, fluent user of Claude or a comparable AI writing tool.
• Experience building or running HubSpot workflows.
• Comfortable communicating with both procurement officials and startup teams across US and UK time zones.
