Product Manager – AI‑Driven Audit Solutions

About the role

Modus is building the future of audit with Agentic AI, partnering with accounting firms to modernize their processes. As a Product Manager you will act as the bridge between auditors and the engineering team, turning real‑world audit workflows into scalable AI products.

Key responsibilities

• Define the product roadmap by translating messy audit workflows into clear AI specifications.
• Partner with engineers to ship LLM pipelines, retrieval‑augmented generation (RAG) systems, and browser‑automation agents into production.
• Own outcomes by working directly with auditors to ensure tools deliver measurable business impact.
• Build a repeatable playbook for modernizing traditional CPA firms through technology.

Required profile

• Proven product‑manager experience, preferably in early‑stage or high‑growth technical environments.
• Technical background – former software engineer or strong side‑project experience in AI.
• Comfortable reading basic financial statements (P&L, balance sheet).
• High fluency discussing AI/LLMs, data pipelines, and technical trade‑offs.
• Bias for action and willingness to get into the weeds with users and data.
