About the role

Cargill is seeking a General Production associate for its protein and salt business in Butler, WI. This full‑time position works the 1st and 2nd shifts in a cold‑temperature meat processing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lift and handle raw and cooked meats, including frozen 60‑lb blocks.
• Fill containers with the correct quantities and monitor material flow.
• Inspect machines regularly and ensure proper operation.
• Package finished products into boxes and bags, label, weigh, and verify materials.
• Stack boxes ranging from 10 to 40 lb.
• Complete basic documentation and perform simple computer tasks.
• Maintain product safety, quality, and a clean, hygienic work area.

Required profile

• Legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Minimum age of 18 years.
• Ability to work in a cold environment (30‑40 °F).
• Recent work history (last 12 months) in meat processing, packaging, or manufacturing is preferred.

Required skills

• Basic computer operation for data entry and documentation.
