Process Simulation Product Owner & Architect

About the role

AVEVA is seeking a Process Simulation Product Owner and Domain Architect to lead the evolution of its Process Simulation platform. You will act as the primary domain expert, translating customer needs into feature specifications and guiding cross‑functional teams through design and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Product Manager to define, prioritize, and validate feature specifications based on market and customer insights.
• Serve as the go‑to authority for process simulation workflows, engineering practices, and industry use cases.
• Document detailed requirements for new capabilities, ensuring alignment with real‑world needs.
• Lead architects and developers through design and implementation, providing domain expertise and decision‑making.
• Maintain a strong grasp of the platform’s high‑level architecture and thermodynamic concepts.
• Demonstrate sprint outputs to customers and internal stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve quality.
• Coordinate with other architects to address reliability, scalability, and security requirements.

Required profile

• Deep expertise in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, and the Simulation market.
• Proven experience as a domain expert for process simulation platforms.
• Strong understanding of thermodynamic principles and product architecture.
• Ability to work closely with product managers and cross‑functional development teams.
