About the role

This position is an as‑needed (PRN) appointment for an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Physician Assistant (PA) within the Pediatric Cardiology department at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences. It is a temporary fixed‑term role that supports the delivery of specialized cardiac care to children and adolescents. The incumbent will work in a collaborative, academic‑medical environment that values teamwork and diversity.

Key responsibilities

• Provide advanced nursing or physician‑assistant services in pediatric cardiology on a PRN basis, assisting physicians with patient evaluation, treatment planning, and follow‑up care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the continuity of care for pediatric cardiac patients.

• Applicants must have legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
