Private Equity Analyst

About the role

Stonehenge Partners is seeking a motivated Private Equity Analyst to join its investment team in Columbus, Ohio. The analyst will support the evaluation and execution of middle‑market investments, working closely with senior professionals and business development colleagues in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Build detailed financial models and conduct investment return analyses.
• Perform industry and company research to support deal sourcing.
• Assist with due diligence, transaction execution, and preparation of investment memorandums.
• Prepare presentations for the investment committee.
• Monitor portfolio company performance, quarterly valuations, and add‑on acquisitions.
• Provide ad‑hoc support to business development teams as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, commercial banking, business valuation, or a similar discipline.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and capacity to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
