Principal Solution Architect

About the role

CRH Americas Building Products is seeking a Principal Solution Architect to join its Center of Excellence. The role will guide the end‑to‑end enterprise application landscape, focusing on SAP S/4HANA, Salesforce, and related bolt‑on solutions, as part of a large business transformation program.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and delivery of integrated solutions across SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce platforms.
• Develop and maintain a long‑term solution roadmap aligned with business strategy and scalability requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Oversee system integrations to ensure seamless data flow between SAP, Salesforce, and other enterprise applications.
• Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and governance for COE and development teams.
• Partner with Innovation Capabilities to evaluate new technologies and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure solution scalability, reliability, security, and compliance with industry regulations.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in enterprise architecture, business process design, and large‑scale system integration.
• Proven track record delivering SAP S/4HANA and Salesforce CRM/CPQ implementations.
• Strong ability to align IT solutions with business objectives and drive transformation initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills to act as a liaison between business units and IT teams.
