Principal Legal Compliance & Ethics Officer

About the role

L3Harris is seeking a proactive Principal Legal Compliance & Ethics Officer to lead investigations of alleged misconduct and drive a culture of ethical behavior across the enterprise. The role reports directly to the Senior Director of Ethics & Compliance and partners with legal, HR, finance, operations, and security leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct thorough internal investigations, including document review, interviews, and data analysis.
• Manage privileged investigations under counsel supervision and coordinate logistics for each phase.
• Identify corrective actions, ensure timely resolution of compliance concerns, and provide guidance on ethics and compliance topics.
• Develop and deliver employee engagement, communication, and training initiatives to foster an ethical culture.
• Create metric presentations for the Audit Committee using PowerPoint and Excel.
• Utilize NAVEX or CaseIQ platforms to track cases and generate reports.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in ethics, compliance, or internal investigations.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills with a passion for continuous improvement.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across legal, HR, finance, operations, quality, supply chain, and security.
• Proven track record of developing scalable processes and driving technology adoption.
