Principal Consultant – Healthcare Project Lead

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Principal Consultant to lead healthcare‑focused projects in its Life Sciences unit. The role combines project leadership with deep domain expertise in clinical trials, compliance and safety, helping clients modernise operations through AI‑driven solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Define project objectives and scope in line with business goals, ensuring efficient delivery.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing regular updates for alignment and transparency.
• Drive process improvement by reviewing deliverables and applying innovative methodologies for product research, benchmarking, system configuration and technology assessment.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to secure successful outcomes.
• Develop and manage project estimates, monitor budgets and optimise resource allocation.
• Support preparation of technical and commercial proposals aligned with client needs.
• Plan resource allocation, conduct performance appraisals and facilitate professional development.
• Lead scope changes, manage client requirements and ensure proper estimation, approval and contractual updates.

• Experience with clinical data management applications such as OC, RDC and TMS.
• Hands‑on experience in clinical reporting (internal and FDA) from study start to close‑out.
• Knowledge of Clinical Data Management processes and Clinical Data Warehouse concepts.
