Physician, Physical Medicine & Rehab (PM&R)

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) physician to join a busy outpatient practice in the Northshore region. The position offers collaboration with a dedicated Back and Spine Clinic and a large referral network across primary care and orthopedics.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient PM&R care, including evaluation, treatment planning, and follow‑up.
• Collaborate with the Back and Spine Clinic and other specialists within Ochsner Health.
• Utilize the Epic electronic medical record system for patient documentation and coordination.
• Perform electromyography (EMG) studies as part of diagnostic services.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
• Ability to work onsite in Slidell, Louisiana.
• Preferably fellowship trained in Sports Medicine, though not required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMG testing.
• Experience using Epic EMR platform.
