Physician, Orthopedic Foot and Ankle Surgeon

About the role

Ochsner Health is seeking a Board‑Certified or Board‑eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery to join its growing Orthopedic Surgery team. This clinical and academic‑focused position offers collaboration with a multidisciplinary team, opportunities to teach medical students and residents, and participation in research initiatives within an integrated health system.

Key responsibilities

• Provide focused foot and ankle surgical care.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, podiatrists, and allied health professionals.
• Teach and mentor medical students and residents.
• Participate in and support clinical research projects.
• Work alongside advanced practice providers, medical assistants, and certified therapists.

Required profile

• Board Certification or Board eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Foot and Ankle Surgery.
• Eligibility for or current licensure to practice in Louisiana.
• Commitment to excellent clinical care, teamwork, and patient experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system.
• Experience using AI documentation technology.
• Ability to conduct and contribute to clinical research.
