About the role

Ochsner LSU Health System seeks a full‑time academic Hospitalist to join the Monroe Medical Center faculty, providing patient care, teaching, and leadership.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses to develop customized care plans for each patient.
Provide teaching and mentorship to medical students and residents while delivering high‑quality patient care.
Participate in physician leadership and contribute to administrative decisions at all levels.

Required profile

Board certified or board eligible in Internal Medicine.
Eligible for active Louisiana medical licensure.
Open to graduating Internal Medicine residents; position at Assistant or Associate Professor rank.
