About the role

The Physician – Electrophysiology provides high‑quality, cost‑effective patient care within a specialty practice focused on cardiac electrophysiology. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and preventing cardiac rhythm disorders while collaborating with medical leadership and staff to improve clinical outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver patient care that aligns with established specialty practice objectives and organizational goals.
• Establish preventive measures, diagnose, and treat electrophysiology‑related illnesses in accordance with medical protocols.
• Manage resources efficiently to ensure cost‑effective care delivery.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives and serve on medical staff committees.
• Maintain current technical knowledge and pursue educational opportunities to enhance clinical competency.
• Contribute to medical staff programs, teaching activities, and peer‑review processes.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited medical school.
• Current, unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey.
• Board certification in the relevant specialty and staff membership at Atlantic City Medical Center.
• CDS and DEA registrations without encumbrances.
• Demonstrated clinical competencies as defined by the organization’s assessment tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Clinical Applications (training provided within 30‑60 days of hire).
