Physical Therapist – TOSH Inpatient

About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to join the TOSH Inpatient team. This full‑time, day‑shift position provides direct rehabilitation services to hospitalized patients, supporting recovery and functional independence.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence‑based physical therapy interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional training.
• Document evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries in the electronic health record.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge instructions.

Required profile

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Arkansas.
• Graduation from an accredited PT program.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Commitment to providing high‑quality, patient‑centered care.

Required skills
