Phone as a Key Software Engineering Internship

About the role

This internship supports the development of Bosch's Perfectly Keyless product portfolio. You will work closely with software engineers to help deliver high‑quality automotive software and gain hands‑on experience in testing and automation.

Key responsibilities

• Assist software engineers with tasks related to the Phone as a Key product line.
• Collaborate with the team to identify testing needs and adopt unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Create, execute, and report on unit and integration tests.
• Support automation of development activities and vehicle testing, including HIL bench setup, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Document activities to improve hand‑over and support ASPICE Level 2 certification efforts.

Required profile

• Pursuing a degree in Engineering or Computer Science with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available for a minimum of 3 months, preferably full‑time (40 hours/week).
• Passion for engineering and willingness to work onsite in Plymouth.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States (no sponsorship available).

Required skills

• Familiarity with ROS/ROS2 environments.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Python, and CAPL scripting.
• Experience with unit and integration testing frameworks.
• Understanding of HIL bench setup and automotive software testing.
