Pharmacy Technician – Primary Care Office (Concierge Medicine)

About the role

Private Medical is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join its San Francisco primary‑care office. You will work closely with on‑site pharmacy staff and clinical teams to dispense medications, manage inventory, and support our Physician Dispensing Program.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and label prescriptions under physician direction.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to obtain and submit medication prior authorizations.
• Order, stock, label, and dispose of pharmaceutical inventory in compliance with regulations.
• Receive, verify, and log medication shipments; monitor expired or recalled items.
• Maintain vendor relationships and provide service to members.
• Manage data across EHR, Salesforce, inventory systems, and spreadsheets.
• Perform administrative tasks such as record‑keeping and handling rejected insurance claims.
• Participate in cross‑functional projects and committees related to medication management.
• Occasionally travel to other locations for training or support.

Required profile

• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.

• Comfort with independent decision‑making within a supportive framework.
• Experience as a pharmacy technician in a clinical or primary‑care setting.
