About the role

Ochsner Children’s Hospital in New Orleans is seeking a board‑certified Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join a faculty of seven specialists. The role involves delivering anesthesia care across a broad spectrum of pediatric cases in a supportive, collegial environment.

Key responsibilities

  • Provide anesthesia for a wide range of pediatric cases, from routine outpatient procedures to complex neonatal surgery and liver transplants.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, multidisciplinary teams, and the existing faculty of seven pediatric anesthesiologists at Ochsner Children’s Hospital.

Required profile

  • Completion of a Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship or equivalent experience with subspecialty certification.
  • Commitment to a supportive, collegial environment and willingness to engage in academic activities such as teaching and research.
