Part‑Time Service Supervisor – Porter Mar Vista

About the role

The Part‑Time Service Supervisor ensures that the Porter Mar Vista student‑living community remains clean, safe, and fully functional. This position combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance activities to meet Greystar’s high standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage work orders from resident requests and routine upkeep, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Oversee the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, amenities, building exteriors, common areas, and market‑ready interiors.
• Inspect work performed by service team members and external contractors to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance tasks as outlined in company policies.

Required profile

• Experience performing technical and mechanical maintenance in a residential or student‑living environment.
• Ability to diagnose problems, prioritize work orders, and coordinate repairs.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections and quality assurance.
• Capability to manage inventory and work within budgetary guidelines.
