Part‑time Remote Biology Faculty

About the role

The University of Arkansas Grantham seeks part‑time faculty to deliver online biology courses on a remote basis. You will join the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology, teaching up to 70 students per term in eight‑week courses that start monthly or quarterly.

Key responsibilities

• Provide online instruction and academic support to enrolled students.
• Develop and deliver course materials using the Blackboard Learning Management System.
• Maintain regular outreach and communication with students throughout the term.
• Assess student performance, grade assignments, and record grades in the system.
• Collaborate with the Administrative Faculty and adhere to university policies.

Required profile

• Ability to live and work full‑time in one of the eligible U.S. states listed in the posting.
• Relevant academic qualifications in biology or a closely related field.
• Experience with online teaching and familiarity with virtual classroom environments.
