Part‑Time House Manager & Family Assistant (Child Care, Meals)

About the role

We are a warm family in Westfield, NJ seeking a part‑time House Manager & Family Assistant to keep our home running smoothly. The role supports daily household tasks, child care for our 1‑year‑old, and meal planning for the family.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain tidy rooms, manage laundry, and oversee organization of closets, pantry and toys.
• Plan, prep and pack healthy meals and snacks for the child, including school lunches and dinner.
• Shop for groceries, track pantry inventory and coordinate household orders.
• Provide light child supervision, occasional school pick‑ups, and backup childcare as needed.
• Handle vendor coordination, seasonal home maintenance and occasional deep‑cleaning projects.

Required profile

• Proactive, organized and detail‑oriented with a genuine passion for supporting families.
• Reliable, warm and communicative, able to balance updates with respecting family privacy.
• Flexible and adaptable to evolving family needs, aiming for a long‑term partnership.

Required skills

• CPR certification (preferred).
• Reliable transportation and ability to use the family vehicle for errands.
