Part-Time Store Supervisor – Bethesda, MD

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Store Supervisor to support the Beyond Yoga boutique in Bethesda, MD. Reporting to the Store Manager, you will act as manager on duty, oversee daily operations, and ensure a positive customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Open and close the store, handling cash and ensuring all procedures are followed.
• Process shipments, set the sales floor, manage markdowns and replenish inventory.
• Coach and supervise the team, maintaining a strong selling culture and customer connection.
• Address customer concerns, escalating when necessary to achieve positive outcomes.
• Monitor performance metrics such as conversion, units per transaction, and sales per hour.
• Support onboarding and training of new hires.
• Collaborate with the Home Office and local community on events and brand awareness.

Required profile

• Proven retail leadership experience with a track record of supervising, coaching and training.
• Self‑starter with a growth mindset and ability to adapt to new tools and initiatives.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to build inclusive and diverse work environments.
• Flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform essential job functions.
