Part-Time RN Clinical Educator – Monroe, LA

About the role

The RN Clinical Educator serves as a teacher, facilitator, and consultant, working closely with nursing staff and management to achieve the organization’s educational goals. The role involves assessing learning needs, planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating training programs that enhance patient care outcomes and improve processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, design, present, and evaluate educational programs for clinical and non‑clinical staff based on identified competencies.
• Actively participate in professional groups and associations.
• Function as a performance consultant to improve staff competencies.
• Coordinate training facilities and related resources.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, accreditation standards, and ensure compliance.
• Perform other related duties as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (required); Master’s degree in nursing (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience.
• Current RN license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Required skills

• Proficiency with computers, software, and web‑based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication, including presentation abilities.
