Part-time Registrar Office Assistant

About the role

We are seeking a part‑time Extra Help Assistant to support the Registrar’s Office at Phillips Community College. This temporary, work‑study position involves front‑desk duties, assisting students with registration, and handling transcript requests.

Key responsibilities

• Manage front‑desk operations and greet students and visitors.
• Process new student registrations, verify documents, and enter data into Workday.
• Issue student ID cards and maintain accurate ID records.
• Assist with transcript requests and distribute materials such as badges and forms.
• Answer phone calls and respond to email inquiries, providing clear information.
• Troubleshoot registration discrepancies and ensure confidentiality of student records.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent communication skills for in‑person and phone interactions.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced office environment.
