About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking part‑time forklift operators for its Tallahassee service center. The position starts at $18.71 per hour and offers a fast‑paced warehouse environment where you will move freight safely in and out of trailers.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Move freight safely on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read and follow shipping manifests.
- Interact with computer displays to track loads.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
- Some experience with less‑than‑truckload (LTL) operations is preferred.
