About the role

The Outpatient Pharmacy Pharmacist at Cedars‑Sinai Medical Center ensures safe, timely medication delivery for discharged patients and clinic visitors. Working in a high‑performing team, you will oversee daily pharmacy operations and contribute to the hospital’s reputation for clinical excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and supervise medication‑management activities in the outpatient setting.
• Provide clinical and drug‑distribution services, including discharge and clinic prescription processing.
• Manage discharge prescriptions to guarantee safe, timely distribution to patients.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with controlled‑substance accountability.
• Integrate medication‑safety principles throughout the outpatient pharmacy workflow.

Required profile

• Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy; PharmD preferred.
• Completion of a PGY1 and/or PGY2 residency or equivalent practice experience.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the State of California.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, common disease states, and pathologies.
• Ability to interpret patient medical management plans and apply pharmacological principles.
