Operations Manager, Distribution and Logistics

About the role

Create Wellness is seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to own the day‑to‑day flow of goods across its supply chain. Reporting to the Director of Distribution & Logistics, you will coordinate raw material shipments, manage inbound and outbound logistics with a third‑party logistics provider (3PL), and ensure finished products reach retail and direct‑to‑consumer customers on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full shipment schedule for raw goods moving to co‑manufacturers, ingredient suppliers, and other partners.
• Coordinate all inbound and outbound flows through the 3PL, guaranteeing on‑time, complete, and undamaged deliveries.
• Oversee domestic freight for retailer replenishment, DTC fulfillment, and special projects.
• Maintain 100% visibility of open shipments, tracking, flagging, and resolving issues promptly.
• Serve as the primary operational contact for the 3PL, handling performance, escalations, and continuous improvement.
• Hold the 3PL accountable to service level agreements and proactively surface potential issues.
• Identify and lead cost‑optimization initiatives, including carrier rate negotiations and process efficiencies.
• Maintain and improve integrations of WMS, TMS, and ERP systems for accurate data flow.
• Communicate regularly with raw‑goods suppliers and contract manufacturers on shipment readiness and delivery expectations.
• Collaborate with Inventory Planning, Finance, Sales, and Brand teams to align logistics execution with broader business priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Experience with Transportation Management System (TMS).
• Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platforms.
