About the role
We are experts in the beer, wine and spirits industry looking for an on‑premise Sales Representative to cultivate and grow account relationships in San Diego South. The role focuses on maximizing sales of supplier brands through effective planning, execution and communication while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Visit assigned accounts daily, creating an efficient routing pattern.
- Identify growth opportunities, complete surveys and ensure national account compliance.
- Deliver professional sales presentations, promote new products, and manage bar placements and promotions.
- Maintain product inventory, restock shelves where legally permissible, and conduct staff training seminars.
- Process credits, returns and manage receivables, collecting payments where allowed.
- Handle customer issues, provide product deliveries in extenuating circumstances, and refer escalations to management.
- Achieve sales, volume and activity goals set by management for supplier brands.
- Support new account openings by developing opening orders in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.
Required profile
- Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
- Valid driver’s license and personal vehicle for customer visits.
- Strong passion for customer service and exceeding expectations.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, on‑premise selling environment.
